This extraordinary bronze sculpture balances on the edge of surrealism, dark fantasy, and functional steampunk. The concept draws inspiration from an eclectic blend of eras, literature, and styles — from the Victorian aesthetic and Jonathan Swift’s Laputa to the cinematic worlds of Hayao Miyazaki, the weird fiction of China Miéville, and intricate mechanical art.
This fish can be rolled, opened, the top removed, and endlessly examined and touched. It can also be used as a casket for various small items or as a holder for scented candles – if you place incense cones inside, the smoke will beautifully envelop the castle, escaping from the windows and chimney.

This casket is made by hand (without using computer technology) of bronze in accordance with the author’s sketch and is presented in a single copy.
For the manufacture of this item has been hand carved model from wax. Then, using the lost vax method, a metal blank was cast, which was then installation, minted, ground and polished.
The last stage is patinated and final soft polished.
