It usually takes 5-7 days for my products to be made, but now it can take several weeks in an unfortunate scenario. Please take this into account when placing an order. If you select a product from the "ready to ship" category, it means that it has already been manufactured and will be shipped as soon as possible.
Remember that these are NOT tobacco pipes. Therefore, if you just need a tobacco pipe, you don't have to read further. A tobacco pipe is made from other materials and has different parameters.
The size of the bowl and its capacity (the size of the space for the contents) are two different things. When I indicate the bowl-size of the pipe, I mean exactly the inner size of the bowl (the place for the contents). There may be a large heavy pipe with a small volume.
The size of the pipe bowl is a conditional concept. In all, pipes S-size are designed for the volume of one puff, M-size - two or three puffs, L-size - more puffs. But in the pipe there is a net with which you can vary the size of the inner bowl, in addition, you can fill the pipe tightly or not, pull the smoke strongly or weakly. That is, what will be one puff for one person will turn out to be several puffs for another. If you need exact dimensions of the bowl - ask me.
The size of the bowl depends on the preference of the user. If the contents are strong or the smoker is a beginner, then it makes sense to take a pipe with a small bowl (S). In cases where the contents are not strong, or a person likes "to be buried in the trash", or the pipe is intended for a company, then it is worth taking a pipe with a large bowl (L). In other cases, the pipe with the bowl medium size (M) is sufficient.
The length of the mouthpiece depends on personal preference. A long mouthpiece will keep the smoke cooler than a short one. In a very short mouthpiece the smoke will be hot. The extra long mouthpiece (over 25 cm) looks elegant but is difficult to care for. At your request, I can make a long mouthpiece with two screw-on parts so it will be easier to clean and can be used separately like two short mouthpieces.
The shape of the mouthpiece does not affect the result, but a strongly curved mouthpiece is harder to clean than a smooth or straight. Keep in mind that almost all pipes with curved mouthpieces cannot stand on the table, they will fall to one side. For many people it doesn't matter, but for many others it is important. If you don't know what to choose, then I recommend a straight mouthpiece 10-15 cm long.
My pipes are made of metal, so you need to be prepared that they will heat up when smoking, but since there is little content, the heating will not be strong. Massive pipes with a small capacity heat up less.
Some fans like to mix smoke with air, especially if the smoke concentration is too high. For this purpose, in the pipe I can make a special hole – a carburetor – that can be closed with a finger if necessary, thereby changing the concentration and temperature of the smoke to your liking. Such a hole is made only by special request of the customer, otherwise it is absent by default.
The pipe lid does about the same function, in addition, it allows you to smoke in portions - if you close the lid, the smoldering stops. That is, smoking with a lid that is completely closed is usually impossible.
The pipe should be looked after in the same way as for ordinary bronze items. The set that we send, there is a special cleaning ramrod for pipe cleaning. If you wish you can use a small brush, but this is only suitable for short mouthpieces. The pipe can be washed with soap or dishwashing liquid. Do not use aggressive and abrasive agents and do not ignite the pipe on fire. While respecting the basic rules, this pipe can last almost forever.
Bronze is an alloy of copper with tin and a small portion of other metals. Depending on the proportions and composition, the bronze alloy can have different shades - reddish, yellowish, whitish, even iridescent. The upper layer of bronze oxidizes in air and darkens over time, this color is called "the color of old bronze". The speed of color change depends on the surrounding space - on the humidity and composition of the air.
In addition, protruding parts that experience friction from hands or other surfaces remain bright - so in street statues the parts that tourists like to grab hold of remain bright.
A newly made item, after polishing and blackening, has a lighter and more mirror-like appearance than one that has already stood for some time.

Silver souvenirs and jewelry also need regular cleaning (especially earrings). Use special products to clean them and do not forget to remove jewelry when using household chemicals.

I can personalize the repeatable model for you and make it more special. Usually I first make a model from wax and at this stage you can suggest making small changes and personalization - for example, carve in a simple drawing (note, I'm not an artist!), or add text. If the item is already cast and completely finished (these are "ready to ship" items), then there are far fewer opportunities for personalization.
In this case, I can only make an engraving, and not all of my ready-made things will have free space for text.
I do custom-made items. It all depends on the imagination of the customer and my capabilities. I work only by hand, no 3D modeling and printing, so I can't do some things. But I can always offer a compromise option. Therefore, if you have ideas - suggest, we will discuss.

I accept returns for unsuitable items within one month of receipt. The item must be intact and free from traces of use. The money for the item will be refunded after it is returned. The money will be refunded in full minus transportation costs.

Now there is a war in our country, so there is a no-fly zone. All parcels are sent by ground transport to the European hub, and from there they are sent to the addressees. This delays delivery by a few days, so don't expect it to be as fast as before the war.
